Post a paragraph on the DISCUSSION BOARD introducing yourself to the class. Include information such as birthplace, interests, educational background, current location, etc. This is NOT graded, but is a nice exercise for the purpose of getting the writing muscles into shape.

Hello Fellow Classmates and The Mysterious Mr. G,
I am known by my middle name, Brian, but here of course I will likely be called James Henderson. I am the proud father of five beautiful daughters, the newest of which are my twins born this past July. If you happen to find me on campus pushing a double stroller, please refrain from being the latest moron to ask if, indeed, they are twins.
The answer is obviously, “No, they had a two-for-one special at the hospital.”
The other dumb question you might find yourself wanting to ask is whether the two infants in front of you wearing pink are in fact both girls. Again the answer is quite obvious.
“No, the chubby one is gay.”
The lady wearing the Glenn Beck t-shirt while in line at Walmart actually tried to figure out which one was the chubbiest. It made my day.
I was born in June of 1976 in Buffalo, Wyoming. I live nearby on Treasure Island and I’m married to an environmental scientist and geologist. No, I am not Mormon my wife has two degrees. I have worked in radio broadcasting since 1992, which due to deregulation and monopolization is no longer a growth industry. I am at SPC to obtain a degree in Public Policy and Administration and later a law degree.
