This coming weekend is Labor Day weekend. The kickoff of the NCAA Football Season. My favorite time of year. The Cowboys are looking good, but with the whole T.O. thing going on I'm guessing the Seahawks will probably be the team for the NFC.
But perhaps the most exciting thing coming this Friday has got to be the open of the salmon season on the Yakima River.
Yesterday I spent a few hours walking a good strech near the mouth and saw several salmon already in the river.
I'm looking forward to seeing some of the old faces at the river. I wonder if my old buddie Joe is gonna make it out this weekend.
