XL Sunday
Two weeks and it's Super Bowl Sunday.
This year my Boys will be watching the game on the couch, but the Seahawks are making history.
Sorry, Jerome. No Ring For You!

Changing Rooms
I need my own damn redecorating show. I do it every three months.
Anyway, the girls now have the biggest room in the house and still manage to scatter toys from the roof to the basement.
Have I mentioned lately how unwelcome the rain has become here?
If it's not mountain snowstorms or mudslides across the interstate, there's always something up here that makes life difficult on a daily basis.
In the summertime we were in a drought. No campfires. (Which really means no camping without an expensive stove.)
Now it has rained all but one day during the last month. (See the photos below for proof that we have actually seen the sun once this year.)
Oh well. This week is going to end on a good note. I am headed back out to the river. The fish are getting active again so we are going to try and see what we get into this weekend.
No camping though. Too much damn rain for that. Of course, it's still snow up in the mountains anyway. I'm not camping in the snow with the girls until we get one of those campers with heaters and electricity.
(So, no, not any time soon.)

Shopping Spree
Well, we have bought over $500 worth of clothes this week.
We spent $50 on Sunday and $40 last night. I love Old Navy this time of year.
It still felt like a huge splurge though.
It kind of was, but oh well. Now I have clothes that fit and keep me warm. Underwear without holes. It's amazing.

The Playoffs
Since the Boys are taking January off this year, we have become Seahawks fans. It's been easy watching the Hawks destroy all but two of their opponents this year, although it was difficult watching them beat the Cowboys. We didn't cheer for them that day.
This Saturday will be great as the Hawks will exact some revenge on the Redskins for us.
I hope they beat them silly.
Anyway, I haven't got any new photos. I haven't gone anywhere. It's always raining. I'm really sick of the rain. We'd go up to the mountains or go fishing, but it's only nice when a football game is on.
Oh well, it has been in the 40s an awful lot lately. At least here in town.
My fishing buddies say it's time to hit the water, but I'm just now starting to feel halfway normal again following the stomach virus and broken tailbone.
Besides, I still have a freezer full of fish.

New Year's Day
New Year's at Bluewood.
A lot of fun, but today Chloe has been sick. Actually, she has been throwing up since last night.
Sorry that we haven't posted much daily stuff. My butt is too sore for this chair. A fact that was exagerated by Sunday.
Here's my 2006 New Year's Resolution and tip of the day:
Don't sled with a broken tailbone.
