The Not So Arbor Day

Well, since we are hoping to head south for Christmas we are putting up a tree early this year.

(insert comments about hoping in one hand and crapping in the other here)

Anyway, it's time to go cut down a tree. Well, maybe not. I'm not sure what we are going to do exactly. For $5 we can go up to the mountains and cut down our own out of the National Forest.

Of course that would mean braving the snow, paying for a tank of gas ($30), buying a new saw ($10), cutting the tree and putting it on the roof of the car and driving two hours back home.

Or I can go down to Lowes and pay $45.

Experience or convenience.

I guess I'll leave it up to Robin.
